December Daily 2016 Prep and Cover

It's that time of year again!
The best time of the year!
I look forward to it all year long...
December Daily!

I know it seems too early to be thinking about the holidays but I like to prep my album in October. This guarantees I'll get my stories told in December. I can hardly believe it but this will be my 6th December Daily album. I still have so much enthusiasm for this project. When Ali Edward's kits went on sale, I jumped on her site first thing, dealt with a site crash, lol, and ordered my goodies within the first hour. I know how popular her stuff is, and how quickly it sells out. Thankfully, I didn't need an album this year (those sold out the fastest).
I had an extra album from 2013. Last time, I painted it white. This year, I wanted to do a turquoise and red theme, and it came out so good!

I bought some goodies from Hobby Lobby to decorate the cover.
I love how it turned out!! I've never done such a heavily decorated cover before.
I painted a chipboard B an offwhite color, and wrapped a string of lights by Jolee's around it. I adhered it with foam dots.
I painted these wood veneer snowflakes white and embossed with a sparkly white powder.
Here are the paints and powder I used.
On Saturday, October 8, I received my kits!! I purchased Ali's main kit, Liz Tamanaha's mini kit, Jasmine Jones' mini kit, the messy circles stamp set, the Christmas star stamp set, and the small paint bundle.
I happily opened all my goodies and organized them. All ready to go!
That same day, I got a new printer for my anniversary. The Canon Pixma MG6821. I'm very pleased so far. I love that I can print wirelessly from my iphone.
I love using Post-its to organize my ideas for foundation pages.

I knew what I wanted to do with those white chipboard numbers the moment I saw them. I want to go with a very white look this year.

Check back to see my foundation pages for this year's December Daily album! :)
