December Daily 2015 | Day Five

 I gotta get this blog up to date!
The good news is I've kept up with my album, for the most part, lol. I really want to participate with the December Daily 2015 group and Ali's blog, like I've done in past years, but it's hard to find the time and energy working full time with a 5 year old and a baby, but I will try my best. :)
Here is my spread for day five:
 
We went to "cool dude, Andre's" birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese.

I included the invitation and a photo of my son with the birthday boy. Taylor had a blast. I always love watching this group of kiddos. They get along really well. 
My insert:
 I added a "be merry" tab from Ali's main kit this year.
 On the back, I typed up my journaling.
Right:
 Those fun 12 pocket 2x2 squares makes it's first appearance in my album!

    well done! :) It's hard to stay up to date, especially with little people around. I love your grid page and the journaling inserts.

 Tonight, we trimmed the tree. Trevor and I decided to do it after Taylor went to bed. As we hung his new ornament, a football he chose himself, I couldn't help but imagine what next year will be like. If he'll be able to help us or not. I'm very anxious to see Taylor's reaction tomorrow, when he sees the lights and ornaments on the tree. For the past few days, he hasn't really payed much attention to the bare tree. Here's my left page:  Testing out some lights I had from last year, which we couldn't use because half the strand was out. Here's my right page:  The finished tree. Too bad my photos don't do it justice. I gotta learn how to take better pictures of lights and ornaments on the tree.  I also included a 2x4 insert with the before tree with just the lights on the front,  and the after tree all done and loaded with ornaments, old and new. December Daily 2012 Foundation Pages

It's that time of year again! Last year I embarked on this incredible project for the first time, and I loved it! I've been looking forward to this all year, and now December is almost here! I'm finally done with my album, with the exception of the cover. Not sure what I want to do with that just yet. The foundation pages are ready to go! Every day is basically going to be a 2 page spread, like this: With some overlays thrown in here and there. Here are my foundation pages. A lot of them are super simple because the pages will really come together once the photos are added. And there you have it! Come on December! December Daily is an idea from Ali Edwards. December Daily 2012 - Day One

Welcome to December Daily 2012. The day I've waited for all year is finally here! I enjoyed this project so much last year, and I'm ready to go again. We did a lot on this first day of December, including shopping for lights, getting the decorations down from the attic, walking around the neighborhood, and Trevor putting up the lights on the outside of the house, but the story I was most excited for was buying a real tree this year. It reminds me of my childhood. We found a really good one too! Here is the left page, one large photo of Taylor at the Tree lot:   And here is the right page:  A picture of our little family in front of our tree. :) I used a 4x6 overlay created by Ali Edwards, found here . The word tree is a digital brush by Ali, which can be purchased on Designer Digitals .
