December Daily 2013 - Day Fourteen

 Oh how I loved day fourteen!
We went to breakfast with Santa at my school. And Taylor did great! He was excited to see Santa, willing to sit in his lap, and happily talking with him and telling him what he wanted for Christmas. It was so cute!
Here's the spread:
 
I included a letter he scribbled on for Santa. There were all these stations there and Taylor had fun making a photo frame, ornament, and letter to Santa. 
Here's the left page:
 Two 4x6 photos with a white border. On the top photo, I included a digital brush from Ali Edwards. On the bottom photo, I added a glittery star, sequin, and enamel dot. I also added this cool stamp (just like a postage stamp) from the Studio Calico December Daily 2013 kit.
A closer look at the letter I included as an insert:
 I attached a tab with a strip of one of the papers included in the kit.
 And another strip from that same paper on the back.
Here's the right page:
 A filler card (love the chevron) from a Project Life mini kit I found at Hobby Lobby, two silhouette cuts from this set by Ali Edwards, and a journaling card.

A better view of the silhouette cuts, giving that awesome see-through quality in the album.

 Tonight, we trimmed the tree. Trevor and I decided to do it after Taylor went to bed. As we hung his new ornament, a football he chose himself, I couldn't help but imagine what next year will be like. If he'll be able to help us or not. I'm very anxious to see Taylor's reaction tomorrow, when he sees the lights and ornaments on the tree. For the past few days, he hasn't really payed much attention to the bare tree. Here's my left page:  Testing out some lights I had from last year, which we couldn't use because half the strand was out. Here's my right page:  The finished tree. Too bad my photos don't do it justice. I gotta learn how to take better pictures of lights and ornaments on the tree.  I also included a 2x4 insert with the before tree with just the lights on the front,  and the after tree all done and loaded with ornaments, old and new. December Daily 2012 Foundation Pages

It's that time of year again! Last year I embarked on this incredible project for the first time, and I loved it! I've been looking forward to this all year, and now December is almost here! I'm finally done with my album, with the exception of the cover. Not sure what I want to do with that just yet. The foundation pages are ready to go! Every day is basically going to be a 2 page spread, like this: With some overlays thrown in here and there. Here are my foundation pages. A lot of them are super simple because the pages will really come together once the photos are added. And there you have it! Come on December! December Daily is an idea from Ali Edwards. December Daily 2012 - Day One

Welcome to December Daily 2012. The day I've waited for all year is finally here! I enjoyed this project so much last year, and I'm ready to go again. We did a lot on this first day of December, including shopping for lights, getting the decorations down from the attic, walking around the neighborhood, and Trevor putting up the lights on the outside of the house, but the story I was most excited for was buying a real tree this year. It reminds me of my childhood. We found a really good one too! Here is the left page, one large photo of Taylor at the Tree lot:   And here is the right page:  A picture of our little family in front of our tree. :) I used a 4x6 overlay created by Ali Edwards, found here . The word tree is a digital brush by Ali, which can be purchased on Designer Digitals .
